We live in a democracy, right? Well yes and no, in my opinion. It could be improved, as you will see under My Causes.

I have believed for many years that every person, including me, should support a political party, otherwise one has no right to complain. Unfortunately, working through the present political system does not appear to hold much promise in our crusade to save Terra from destruction. Here are the reasons that I gleaned from the literature and from personal experience:

• CONTRARY TO THE DEDICATION TO GROWTH.
• PATRIOTISM.
• DEDICATION OFTEN OBSCURES THE. ISSUES
• INDUSTRY LOBBIES, FRUSTRATE EFFORTS.
• MANY BELIEVE THAT INFINITE EXPANSION IS POSSIBLE
• YOU CAN'T KNOCK PROGRESS
• CONTRARY TO FOUNDING FATHERS
• INFLEXIBLE
• RED TAPE
• PREOCCUPIED WITH STATE/ECONOMY/ TECHNOLOGY/ JOBS
• POLITICIANS OFTEN HAVE OTHER MASTERS
• INSUFFICIENT PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND INTEREST.
