Our only language is English, and the few Latin words you see here and there. Our objective, preserving Terra for future
generations, is an international one, in which many languages are spoken. We hope there are readers with the talents we
lack, who will take on the task of translating this site.
If you are interested in translating material from CIVIS MUNDI into languages other than English please
contact us. We are optimistic that some of you will see the threats against our
earth as paramount and will assist us in getting the message to others.
- Unfortunately, we can't assist with translation, or check the quality of your work.
- We ask that any project to translate significant amounts of content contact us so we can link to the results.
- We ask that you link back to the original pieces, please.
- CIVIS MUNDI and Ad Curam Matris Terrae need no translation.
- If you don't have a server for display of the translated pieces, you can send us HTML pages that we will host on our
server...assuming you did a good job and do not offend others with the quality of your work.
- If more than one person wishes to work on a specific language, we suggest a cooperative venture between, or among
interested parties.
- If you wish to use our graphics and layout, we are happy to share, but please contact
our designer for permission. There is no charge, but her decision on your use is final.
A History of CIVIS MUNDI:
June 2003: Maria Lindsjö has joined us translator to Swedish!
April 2003: We have been fortunate: Viviana Premern is translating of some of the articles into Spanish.
For now, all articles, regardless of language, are listed in one
index. Once there are enough translations, we will provide a separate index for that language.
Optimistically Yours,
Matthew R. Foster - Civis Mundi
